Brief History
     1st General Assembly of CDAP VisMin (May 2002), Cebu.  On this occasion, the CDAP VisMin chapter members elected Mr. Rene Go as president;

•     Registered to the Securities and Exchange Commission on 20 February 2003;

•     1st General Membership Meeting of AUFTRAG (March 2003);

•     Recognition of AUFTRAG as an independent Alumni Association of German scholars by Dr. Peter Mueller Rockstroh, Regional Coordinator of InWEnt (April 2003); and

•     At present there are 50 active members from various fields of expertise (engineering, IT, furniture design, environment, trade and industry, enterprise, academe, etc.).


Vision
Auftrag is a non-stock, non profit, dynamic and responsive association of former German scholars working towards the attainment of peace thru sustainable development within the communities it serves.


Mission

1.    To enhance the capabilities of members, together with partner institutions, in the fields of development management, research, training, and peace building;

2.    To conceptualize, organize, and implement community-based projects related to research, technical training, and pertinent capability enhancement programs that will promote peace and sustainable development of specific pre-determined areas; and

3.    To undertake advocacy programs directed to decision-makers for the adoption of laws and policies (local, national, corporate) that lead to peace and sustainable development.

You can be a/an:

Regular Member
        All Filipino nationals trained in Germany either for technical, academic, or project related training programs and seminars under the following German programs, but not limited to, Carl Duisberg Gessellschaft (CDG), DSE, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), German Technical Service (GTZ), InWEnt (Capacity Building International) and German Development Service (DED). The duration of these training programs may range from short courses to long-term training and seminars held in Germany.

       Filipino scholars trained in Germany who reside or work, preferably but not limited to, the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

Associate Member
     All Filipino nationals trained by InWEnt or other German Technical Development Programmes that were conducted outside of Germany

     All Filipino nationals trained on-line or through e-learning training and seminars conducted under the German initiatives.
